Our journey began in 2007 when I first met my partner Denley Fowlke at the Raw Spirit Festival in Sedona, Arizona. It is an exclusive organic health food festival introducing new raw plant-based products to the marketplace. At the time Denley owned a successful health food store. He was surprised by my strong athletic appearance being primarily on a high plant-based diet. After some thought-provoking conversations, we both felt that there was a strong need for plant-based protein. A year later in 2008, we developed one of the most trusted brands of plant-based protein supplements with worldwide distribution. We were one of the first to come to the market, and our products continue to thrive.

My interest in health started when I was just a teen. I was always very curious about diet, exercise, and supplementation. I became a competitive athlete back in the 70’s and lived a predominantly healthy lifestyle. I was shocked that in 2012 I developed a blood clot and was even more surprised to find that it was a common occurrence even among world class athletes. I was put on statin drugs, but they had severe side effects. I decided to pursue a more holistic approach and recalled a podcast a few years prior by Dr. William Wong, one of the leading authorities on systemic enzymes. He spoke about systemic enzymes and their relation to dissolving blood clots which sparked my interest. I spent years doing research and self-experimentation using systemic enzymes. They worked wonders!
